Paper 1 is compulsory while Paper 2 is for JSO (Junior Statistical Office) candidates and Paper 3 is for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.

SSC CGL Exam Pattern Tier 1
In order to crack the exam, it is very important to know the new SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2022. Tier 1 is a computer-based test(CBT) exam which comprises 100 multiple-choice questions with a maximum of marks 200 in total. You have been given 60 minutes to complete the exam. There is nothing like a sectional cut-off. Marks will be calculated on an aggregate basis. This is just a qualifying exam and its marks will not be counted during the final selection. SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam Pattern (Revised)
Here we find the real change in the exam pattern. Tier 2 exam will be held in 3 Phases i.e. Paper 1, Paper 2, and Paper 3. Paper 1 is compulsory while Paper 2 is for JSO (Junior Statistical Office) candidates and Paper 3 is for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. Note1- A negative marking of 1 mark will be there for each wrong answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I while 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-II and Paper-III respectively.
Note2- The candidates who are eligible for scribe will get an extra 20 minutes for 1 hour time.
