What is SSC?

Tier I- Computer-based Examination
The maximum marks are 50 for 25 questions in every subject and the maximum time duration is 60 minutes. This exam is purely computer and objective based with a negative marking of 0.5 mark.

The mode of the exam will be descriptive of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and Paper Mode.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus
The exam pattern for the post of Constable in the security forces is divided into 2 tiers.
Tier I- Computer-based Examination
The 1st tier of the examination will be only objective questions based which will bear a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. The maximum marks are 25 for exactly 25 questions and the maximum duration is 90 minutes.
